Description
After an early morning pickup from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship, you’ll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile River.
Once there, you’ll receive a detailed safety briefing before stepping into the sturdy basket of the hot air balloon with your pilot and fellow passengers. Feel the excitement build as the colorful balloon lifts gently into the sky for an approximately 30-minute flight (weather permitting).
As you ascend, marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views as the first light of dawn reveals Luxor’s ancient temples and monuments. Admire the sights of Karnak, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and other landmarks bathed in golden sunlight. If wind conditions allow, you may even drift over the magnificent Ramesseum—the grand mortuary temple of Pharaoh Ramses II—and take in its massive pylons, statues, and courtyards from above.
Throughout your flight, a support crew will track your balloon from the ground and meet you upon landing.
